Weekend adventures, Day 5 thought day 7/ Aventuras de fin de semana, Dia 5 a dia 7

 - Day 5/ Friday May 22:

We did our 3rd conch survey, and gladly we were able to find 2 alive conchs! We were so excited to finally have data to report about the conch.

Later on, the night we did a tour to Bio Bay. We got to experience a rare event on earth, BIOLUMINECENCE !!!!

-Day 6 / Saturday May 23:

Today we did our second mangrove survey assessment in Isla Magueyes. These were mangroves from the school, so we were able to tell a difference in density compared with our first site.

After that we did some snorkel of the boat basin of the school, many of us were able to encounter lionfish, angle fish, sting grays and multiple fishes. But before doing that I decided to get a little tan.

After we got tired of looking around we headed back to the house to get ready to spend the rest of the day downtown Paguera. We got to eat some pizza and see Dr. Steichen, Mayce and Eva do some dance moves on the main plaza.

-Day 7/ Sunday May 24:

We started the day with a hike in cabo rojo. there were some AMAZING!! views. It was a really unique experience this type of biome. I got really lucky in this trip because i found a empty queen helmet shell just showed into the sediment and the rocks. + a nice dead coral head!!

This day was mainly chill and exploring Puerto Rico, so it was nice to have fun with the group and to know more of this beautiful place.
