Day one and I've already learned so much. First of all that there is so many iguanas. They reminded me of the campus squirrels back home by their abundance and how they were so desensitized to humans. My favorite part of the day was definitely going to tsunami point for lunch. I have never seen water so blue or a view like that in general. We also had our first day snorkeling in the ocean. I was really nervous because that was my first time snorkeling in the field. I made some mistakes and got lots of water in my eyes and mouth but that is okay it is what learning is all about. I am excited to improve my skills and start seeing the data we collect start to go together.
