The last two days of this trip were a blast! Yesterday, we had Amanda from ISER Caribe share her thesis project for her Master's, wahoo connectivity in Puerto Rico. I found the concept fascinating, even the bioinformatics part!
Today, our snorkel at Laurel proved very fruitful, we saw a good-sized nurse shark and swam with dolphins! Later, we helped Hunter at ISER Caribe sort out sea urchins that are ready to be outplanted.
Puerto Rico has been an amazing place to see what fieldwork looks like firsthand, and make so many new connections!
