The last few days have been a blast, full of so much adventure and exposure to wildlife. Just the other day,
I got the chance to swim with a bunch of tarpon, played tug‑of‑war with an octopus for a conch during a queen
conch survey, hiked in the cliffs of Puerto Rico, and visited Cabo Rojo. I’m learning so much about the sea and
being exposed to so much hands-on learning, like getting more familiar with BRUVs and reviewing footage.
There are so many activities related to this career and even some fun moments where none of it ever feels like
work just a day full of adventure and endless fun. I can’t wait for what my future has in store for me and for
future data collection I can do.
