Howdy!
My name is Jason, and I am a junior completing a double degree in Marine Biology and Marine Fisheries with a minor in Dive Technology and Methods. I’m incredibly excited to be taking two field‑based courses this summer: Community Ecology in the Tropics and Tropical Marine Botany. I’m grateful for the opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico to conduct hands‑on research. I’m also looking forward to learning alongside an amazing group of people who share my passion for marine science.

I’ve also known from early in my college career that I wanted to lean into science communication and outreach. Sharing my experiences has become just as important to me as living them. Over time, I want to build a presence on YouTube, Instagram, and now my own website, where I document my journey as a marine scientist in training, from fieldwork and research to travel, diving, and day‑to‑day life as a student. My goal is to inspire future marine science students and create a space where others can learn, connect, and follow along. I’ll leave my links below for anyone who wants to join me on this adventure.
