Hello! My name is Jose Emmanuel Corona Huerta. And yes i have two last names and two names. 😬 Is mainly because I was born in México, so probably I'm the first International student taking this class.
A little more about me;
-I am studying two degrees Marine Biology and Marine fisheries.
-I am a dive master for the school with the Dive program from TAMUG.
-I am a senator for Student Government Association (SGA) with liason on international students.
- And I have been the president of Asian and Pacific Islander Student Association (APISA) and Student Association of Latino Leader this being my 3rd year of presidency.
So as you can tell I am pretty involve in the school, I have experience in the scuba diving field and leadership roll. BUT I have low experience in the field of my career.😢
This summer classes in Puerto Rico gets me really exited, during this classes will give me big amounts of experience and knowledge on work field and general field work that will help me in the future and help me complete my resume 😝
Also another side note is that I am exited to go to a place that share so aspects of my culture, a hispanic warm community. I'm not only going to learn academic content but experience the precious culture of Puerto Rico
