- First Day
-Wake up at 7:30 to get ready for breakfast
+Travis and Eva made breakfast for us. Scramble eggs and baconnn!
-After the good breakfast we help clean up and divided into group for our tasks
+One group was going to get groceries and the over one had to head to the lab and set up gear and equipment needed.
+I went with the lab group, we set up the equipment and build the cuadrents and bases for the go pro for our surveys.
+ The lab was at the Universidad de Puerto Rico en la sede Magueyes, in this place we meet some nice fellas (iguanas)

+We met the other group there to change to water clothes and grab our lunche that we did in the morning.
-Then we head back to the lab to get a tour of the facility and go in a little hike to see all the sites we are gonna be sampling (Tsunami area).
+In this place we had this insane view of all the places we are going to be this next days.

- At 1 pm we took a boat to Caracoles, is the island with the boats in the picture.
+In this place we did some mangrove root survey and Queen Conch survey
+There was a lot of people chilling in this place so they got curios seeing a lot of gear up group snorkeling to the site. I was so funny because they didn't know how to reach: be scared, or make fun of us. 😂
+For the queen conch survey we did not find any, it was kinda disappointing but at the same time it show how harvested this species is. 💀
-After a long day in the ocean and after so many liters of salt water being ingested, we head back to the boat and eventually to the house.
+After this we will be heading to bed, all of us are really tired after many activities outside.

Primer día
- Nos despertamos a las 7:30 para prepararnos para el desayuno.
+ Travis y Eva nos prepararon el desayuno. ¡Huevos revueltos con tocino!
- Después del buen desayuno, ayudamos a limpiar y nos dividimos en grupos para nuestras tareas.
+ Un grupo fue a comprar víveres y el otro tuvo que ir al laboratorio a preparar el equipo necesario.
+ Yo fui con el grupo del laboratorio. Preparamos el equipo y construimos los soportes y las bases para la GoPro para nuestros experimentos.
+ El laboratorio estaba en la Universidad de Puerto Rico, en la sede Magueyes. Allí conocimos a unos curiosos residentes. (Iguanas verdes)

- Después de preparar todo, volvimos a la casa.
+ Nos reunimos con el otro grupo para cambiarnos a ropa para nadar y recoger el lonche que habíamos preparado por la mañana.
-Luego regresamos al laboratorio para hacer un recorrido por las instalaciones y una pequeña caminata para ver todos los sitios que íbamos a conducir nuestros experimentos (zona del tsunami).
+Desde este lugar teníamos una vista increíble de todos los lugares que visitaríamos los próximos días.

- A la 1 p. m. tomamos un bote a Caracoles, la isla con los botes que se ve en la foto.
+En este lugar realizamos un analisis de raíces de manglares y una busqueda de caracoles reina.
+Había mucha gente relajándose en este lugar, así que les dio curiosidad ver a un grupo con equipo de snorkel en el sitio nadando a toda velocidad hacia ellos. Fue muy gracioso porque no sabían qué hacer: asustarse o reírse de nosotros. 😂
+En la busqueda de caracoles reina no pudimos encontramos ni uno, fue un poco decepcionante, pero al mismo tiempo demuestra lo sobreexplotada que está esta especie. 💀
-Después de un largo día en el mar y tras haber tragado tantos litros de agua salada, regresamos al barco y, finalmente, a casa.
-Ya estamos de vuelta en casa, procesando todos los datos de los analisis y escribiendo los diarios. Como estoy haciendo ahora mismo.
+Después de esto, nos iremos a dormir; todos estamos muy cansados después de tanto merequetengue.
