Day 3: I saw a Tarpon!

Tarpon (Megalops atlanticus) are large, powerful fish known for their silver scales and impressive size, often exceeding 6 feet. They inhabit coastal waters, mangroves, and lagoons, and are famous for their strong swimming and dramatic surface rolls.

While snorkeling, I was able to film a short video of a tarpon up close with my GoPro. I was extremely excited when it got close to me, but then it swam away.
