We're getting to see so many things that have been on my screen saver at some point in my life! I find it genuinely mind boggling that I am getting to see life long favorite creatures of mine in real life. Today we completed some benthic surveys and I saw some gargantuan diademas as well as a burr fish, all of which were absolutely adorable. We also took some seagrass core. When we got back to the lab we rinsed off the debris, measured and weighed them which by the end of our 17 samples a good chunk of time had passed. However, with all of the data we have, it seems to me like it was time well spent
