Hi! I'm Sam, the old man of the students going on this trip... Never mind that! I'm excited to get on that plane and experience the beauty of Puerto Rico that we've been learning about! Today, we went over what kind of things we'll be doing every day, and I'm pumped. We get to team up with NOAA (conveniently some Galveston Island NOAA folks) to survey Queen Conch! We talked about the methods of how to collect this data, and it makes me feel like a huge nerd to be excited to measure some shells. Oh well, I am what I am. But seriously, are we there yet?
